Gwangju Office of Education Achieves 'Best' Rating for 7 Consecutive Years in Ministry of the Interior and Safety Records Management Evaluation
The Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education has received the 'Best' rating for the seventh consecutive time in the records management agency evaluation conducted by the National Archives of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
According to the Office of Education on the 27th, this evaluation is conducted biennially by dividing institutions by type, with the aim of enhancing and developing the records management capabilities of public institutions.
This year, the evaluation was conducted for a total of 231 institutions, including metropolitan and provincial offices of education, education support offices, and public institutions under the government nationwide, using 22 indicators across three categories, including records management work infrastructure.
The Office of Education received perfect scores in the work infrastructure and work implementation categories. In addition, it achieved an overall score of 96.84 points, significantly surpassing the average score of 84.1 points for all evaluated institutions.
The combined score of the Dongbu and Seobu Education Support Offices also exceeded an average of 90 points, higher than the national average of 73.9 points for education support offices, indicating an overall excellent level of records management.
Superintendent Lee Jeongseon said, "We will not remain complacent with the present and will continue to pay attention and provide support so that a proper records culture can continue to spread."
