Ecopro Donates 170 Million Won for Neighborly Love Fundraising
Employees Save 1% of Salary Monthly
"To Be Used for Neighbors in Need"
On the 26th, EcoPro announced that it held the '2024 Year-End Neighbor Helping Donation Ceremony' with the Community Chest of Korea Gyeongbuk Social Welfare Community Chest at the Pohang Campus.
A total of 1,086 employees from six family companies including EcoPro BM and EcoPro Materials participated, raising approximately 83 million KRW in donations, with an additional 17 million KRW provided by the company, delivering a total donation of 100 million KRW.

View original imageSince 2011, EcoPro has been fostering a culture of voluntary donations among its employees by collecting 1% of the salary from members who wish to donate to support neighbors in need. As of this year, the cumulative number of participants is 11,245, with total donations amounting to 823 million KRW.
The donations will be used for various support activities for marginalized groups in the Pohang area, including children from single-parent families, elderly living alone, and people with disabilities.
Earlier, EcoPro participated in the 'Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign' organized by Chungcheongbuk-do and the Chungbuk Social Welfare Community Chest. A total of 607 employees from five family companies working at the Ochang headquarters raised and delivered donations worth approximately 70 million KRW.
