The gift packages delivered to the welfare centers consisted of products from Daejeon Taepyeong Market, including winter supplies, fruits, and rice cake soup. The funds were raised through voluntary salary deductions by SEMAS employees as part of a mutual growth fund. Cheonyangwon plans to use the received Onnuri gift certificates to purchase necessary items for children at affiliated stores in traditional markets and shopping districts.
This sharing event is especially meaningful as it revitalizes the local economy through the purchase of traditional market goods while spreading warmth to underprivileged neighbors.
SEMAS is conducting warmth sharing events in connection with the December Donghaeng Festival together with public institutions in the Daejeon area. Korea Gas Technology Corporation and Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation delivered traditional market products to underprivileged groups on the 19th and 20th, respectively. Daejeon Tourism Organization, Korea Railroad Corporation, and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Fuel are scheduled to continue sharing traditional market goods until the 28th of this month.
