POSCO Labor-Management Wage Negotiation Reached Agreement... Passed in Union Member Vote
The wage negotiations between POSCO labor and management have been finally settled.
According to POSCO on the 24th, a vote was held among union members on the tentative wage negotiation agreement, and it was finally approved with 69.33% in favor.
On the 17th, labor and management tentatively agreed on wage negotiations that included a basic salary increase of 100,000 KRW, a 3 million KRW incentive for achieving management goals, a 3 million KRW incentive for labor-management harmony, raising the criteria for children's scholarship support, increasing childbirth incentives, and increasing holiday incentives.
They also decided to allocate 1.2 billion KRW for cultural event expenses and establish a labor-management coexistence fund of 8 billion KRW, equivalent to about 1 million KRW per union member.
