The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education carried out personnel appointments for 1,558 local government officials effective January 1 of next year.
The Office of Education announced on the 24th that it conducted promotions, transfers, and new appointments for a total of 1,558 personnel?▲7 at grade 3 (2 promoted), ▲37 at grade 4 (8 promoted), ▲243 at grade 5 (47 promoted), and ▲1,271 at grade 6 and below (468 promoted)?to promptly fill vacancies caused by retirements, leaves of absence, dismissals, and educational issues, as well as to boost employee morale.
The Office of Education particularly assigned diligent officials to key positions in advance to actively prepare for the organizational restructuring scheduled for March next year. It also focused on ensuring that the new Gyeonggi Future Education system, composed of schools, Gyeonggi Shared Schools, and Gyeonggi Online Schools, can function effectively.
