View original imageAs the year-end and New Year approach, warm-hearted gestures continue in Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do, with people from all walks of life donating cash and rice to be used for neighbors in need, bringing warmth to the local community.
According to Damyang-gun on the 24th, following a recent cash donation of 20 million won from Ssanggyo Sutbul Galbi, the Damyang branch of the Black Goat Association donated 40 bags of 10kg white rice worth 1 million won, and Damyang Chamsarang Hospital donated 70 bags of 10kg Baeksemi rice worth 3 million won, successively delivering donations and goods.
Ssanggyo Sutbul Galbi, the Damyang branch of the Black Goat Association, and Damyang Chamsarang Hospital have been consistently practicing sharing activities by donating funds every year to spread love to their neighbors. In particular, Kim Changhoe, the CEO of Ssanggyo Sutbul Galbi, joined the Honor Society in 2016 and has continued to make regular donations to various organizations.
Governor Lee Byungno said, "I would like to thank the donors who practice love for their neighbors every year at the end of the year," and added, "We will make sure that the donations and goods are delivered with care to those in need."
