KakaoNavi is the only service provider offering this service in more than 10 regions, including most special and metropolitan cities.
The 'real-time signal information service' provides the status and remaining time of vehicle signals at intersections?such as green, red, yellow, and left turn signals?as well as the green pedestrian signal on crosswalks passed during right turns, directly on the navigation screen. This feature helps ensure safe driving at intersections with a high risk of accidents.
Since the 2nd, the areas covered by the 'road hazard weather information' provided by the Korea Meteorological Administration have also been expanded. In addition to the existing Jungbu Inland Line and West Coast Line, the service now provides 'road black ice occurrence possibility information' and 'road visibility hazard information' on heavily trafficked routes including the Gyeongbu Line, Jungang Line, Honam Line, Yeongdong Line, and Tongyeong-Daejeon and Jungbu Lines. Furthermore, information on nationwide freezing-vulnerable sections such as mountain passes, steep slopes, bridges, and overpasses is received from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, currently delivering information on 3,112 locations.

Additionally, to celebrate the year-end and New Year season, a new category called 'Trending at Year-End' has been added to the destination ranking service 'Yojum Tteuneun' (Trending These Days), which uses driving big data. This category displays popular destinations from December to January over the past three years, offering recommended travel information such as places with a European Christmas atmosphere, locations hosting Santa festivals, and spots frequently visited by locals.
