30s Mother Arrested for Killing 5-Year-Old Son and Attempting Suicide
A woman in her 30s who killed her 5-year-old son and attempted to take her own life was arrested by the police.
On the 23rd, the Jongam Police Station in Seoul announced that they had detained a woman in her 30s, identified as Ms. A, on suspicion of murder.
Ms. A is accused of killing her 5-year-old son at their home in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, around 10 a.m. on the 20th.
The police and fire department responded to a report from the husband that the front door of the house would not open, and found Ms. A and her son unconscious.
Ms. A was taken to the hospital for treatment and was urgently arrested, then detained on the 22nd, the day before.
