According to Seosan City on the 20th, a donation ceremony was held in the mayor's office on this day, attended by Seosan Mayor Lee Wan-seop, Seosan City Construction Association President Koo Ja-gil, and four other officials.
The donated funds will be used to support vulnerable groups in the Seosan area through the Chungnam Community Chest of Korea.
Koo Ja-gil, President of the Seosan City Construction Association, said, "It is even more meaningful to be able to collect and deliver donations together with member companies, making this year-end especially special," and added, "I hope that even a small gesture can become a great help to those in need."
Mayor Lee Wan-seop expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you for donating funds for the community and neighbors despite the difficult economy," and added, "We will ensure that the donated funds are used meaningfully."
Meanwhile, the Seosan City Construction Association is a group of 20 general construction companies gathered with the aim of promoting a sound construction culture in Seosan. Last year, they donated 12 million KRW to the 'Hope 2024 Sharing Campaign.'
