CrowdWorks Launches Paid Subscription Service for Facial Recognition 'AI Camera'
A paid subscription service for an AI camera that supports New Year's fortune-telling, physiognomy, and beauty makeup through facial recognition is launching.
AI tech company CrowdWorks announced on the 20th that the mobile app 'Candy Camera,' in which it holds a 9.1% stake, has started a paid subscription service.
Since its release in 2013, Candy Camera has gained global popularity with various editing features such as stickers and filters, and has been downloaded by over 300 million users worldwide. Recently, CrowdWorks has added its self-developed AI facial recognition technology to renew it as a global K-beauty camera service.
The VIP subscription service offered by Candy Camera is a product that allows unlimited use of all Candy Camera features without ads. Various subscription products will be added through additional AI features currently being developed by CrowdWorks.
Candy Camera currently provides services such as ▲AI physiognomy and fortune-telling ▲AI hair, skin, and makeup ▲AR fitting. The AI physiognomy and fortune-telling service currently supports two languages, Korean and English, and is preparing to launch services in Japanese and Chinese. Additionally, to enhance the physiognomy and fortune-telling functions, development is underway for side-face recognition and result-sharing features. The AR fitting service is preparing an e-commerce linkage function that allows users to try on various jewelry products and purchase them directly.
