The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 19th that it held the '2024 2nd Ethics and Human Rights Management Committee.' Since 2019, the Corporation has been operating the Ethics and Human Rights Management Committee, which plays a key role in decision-making and advisory functions related to the institution's ethics and human rights management. Through regular annual meetings, it has been leading efforts to spread a culture of integrity and practice respect for human rights.
At the committee meeting, internal members including Chairman Kang Seok-jin and external members composed of experts in human rights, labor, and public administration attended to share the annual ethics and human rights management performance and discuss areas for improvement. The Corporation identified and improved vulnerable areas to corruption both internally and externally through the comprehensive 'Integrity Improvement Plan' implemented across the organization this year, contributing to raising employees' awareness of integrity.
In particular, the Ethics and Human Rights Management Charter was revised to add newly emphasized values in public institutions such as proactive administration and responsible supply chain management, aiming to establish an ethics and human rights management direction that aligns with the current era.
