Jongno-gu Adds More Warmth Tents... Operation Until March Next Year
Jongno-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jeong Munheon) will operate the ‘Bus Stop Cold Wave Reduction Facilities’ (Warmth Tents) until March next year to help citizens waiting for buses during winter avoid the cold wind, even if only for a short time.
Jongno-gu has installed cold wave mitigation facilities at a total of 12 locations within the district for residents using public transportation. Provided by Jongno-gu.

The locations include 12 bus stops near Hyehwa Station, Ibug Odocheong, KT Gwanghwamun, Gugi-dong, and Pyeongchang-dong Community Center.
The sites were carefully selected considering local characteristics, bus intervals, and expected high resident satisfaction. Existing windbreak facilities and new warmth tents were installed together, and they will be dismantled at the end of March next year and reinstalled in November before the full onset of the cold season.
