View original imageThis study is in response to the increase in traffic volume between metropolitan areas (Seoul, Incheon) and within the province due to population inflow. Although traffic congestion is worsening, expanding existing roads or constructing new roads alone faces cost and spatial limitations, so efforts are being made to activate bus-only lanes. The study has been underway since June and is scheduled to be completed by March next year.
Through this study, Gyeonggi Province plans to establish the 'Basic Plan for the Establishment of Bus-Only Lanes in Gyeonggi Province,' which includes ▲ reviewing the appropriateness of existing bus-only lanes and preparing activation and improvement measures ▲ examining sections for the introduction of new bus-only lanes.
The research institute, the Administrative and Social Research Institute, presented ▲ analysis results and improvement directions regarding the appropriateness of currently operating bus-only lanes in the province ▲ suggestions for sections to introduce new bus-only lanes.
