RealPT is a cutting-edge fitness program that promotes health by having participants follow the movements of an AI trainer displayed on a smartphone screen.
Since June, the district has introduced this program to local residents, offering various movements for posture correction and fitness testing. It also provides exercise prescriptions tailored to participants' movements through AI-powered hardware.
This event will select fitness champions in five different categories.
Squats, planks, and jumping jacks are the categories to determine the core, lower body, and endurance champions, respectively. Side steps and stretching are used to test and select champions in cognitive ability and flexibility.
Any resident of Nam-gu can participate in the Fitness Champion Challenge event.
Participants simply need to download the RealPT app on their smartphone, select one category, and apply for the challenge event.
The test is divided into three levels of difficulty: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Participants choose a difficulty level that matches their health and fitness, and must complete 12 missions per category.
The event runs until the 27th, but may close early as the first 50 residents to complete each stage will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
Winners will receive a knee blanket around the 30th to 31st of this month.
A district official said, "Through RealPT, residents can enjoy various types of exercise and achieve not only weight loss but also muscle strengthening," and added, "We encourage many residents to show interest and participate."
