Doosan Robotics Collaborates with London Bagel Museum on Production Robots
Doosan Robotics announced on the 18th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with LBM, a food service company operating London Bagel Museum, to jointly develop production process robot solutions aimed at employee health and accident prevention.
London Bagel Museum is a bakery brand that first opened in 2021 in Anguk-dong, Seoul. It is famous for its interior design that perfectly captures the vintage vibe of London, UK, and its variety of bagels. The brand currently operates a total of six locations nationwide.

LBM will conduct a detailed analysis of the production process to identify stages where employees face difficulties, and Doosan Robotics plans to develop customized collaborative robot solutions for those processes.
In particular, collaborative robot solutions will be prioritized for processes where safety accidents such as musculoskeletal and respiratory diseases caused by repetitive motions and vapor exposure, as well as burns, are concerns. These include ▲large-capacity dough mixing process ▲bagel scalding process in hot water ▲oven process with difficult height adjustment causing work fatigue ▲logistics intake process requiring transportation of weights over 20kg ▲and weighing processes.
The collaborative robot solutions developed by Doosan Robotics are expected to contribute to improving the working environment not only at the newly established London Bagel Museum Central Kitchen (centralized cooking facility) but also at various food and beverage (F&B) companies’ production sites.
