Partial Section of Yudeung-ro Toward Taepyeonggyo in Daejeon to Be Restricted for One Month
From the 23rd to January 23rd Next Year... Vehicle Detour Required
Daejeon City announced that a section of Yudeung-ro in the direction of Taepyeonggyo will be closed for about one month, from the 23rd until January 23rd next year, due to the installation of a temporary bridge at Yudeunggyo.
Due to this closure, vehicles turning left from Gyebaek-ro (Doma Market) onto Yudeung-ro toward Taepyeonggyo must detour via Domanegori and Byundongnegori.
Additionally, vehicles that used to turn right from Domagyo toward Domadong and use Yudeung-ro must also return via Domanegori.
The temporary bridge installation at Yudeunggyo is a project to build a six-lane temporary bridge at the site of Yudeunggyo, which was damaged and closed after heavy rainfall in July. The project aims for completion by February 17th next year.
A Daejeon City official stated, "We expect increased traffic congestion in the area due to this closure, so we strongly encourage citizens to use alternative routes," adding, "We will complete the construction as quickly as possible."
