This event, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the 21st in the museum's rice experience room, will select 70 participants on a first-come, first-served basis to learn about Dongji folk customs and experience making and eating Dongji red bean porridge.
Applications for participation are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the Jeonnam Agricultural Museum website, and participation is free of charge.
Kim Okkyung, director of the Jeonnam Agricultural Museum, said, "We prepared this event to provide families with an opportunity to directly experience Dongji folk customs and to spend the last solar term of this year in a meaningful way," adding, "It will be a chance to reflect on and experience the significance of our gradually forgotten seasonal customs."
