At the results report meeting, following presentations on the ESG management achievements of participating companies, an expert lecture was held on the latest ESG issues and corporate response strategies.

Through this project, a total of 16 companies established four cooperative models as a win-win ESG collaboration model between prime contractors and partner companies and received support. As an ESG diffusion support model, 23 companies received support through consulting and diagnosis.

Each participating company achieved results by preparing external disclosure systems such as drafting sustainability management reports and establishing greenhouse gas emission management systems, thereby enhancing practical response capabilities for carbon reduction.

A representative from a prime contractor company participating in this project shared, "Through this support project, we were able to establish a greenhouse gas inventory to prepare for carbon emission reduction, and by drafting sustainability management reports, we could respond more easily to partner company evaluations."

A representative from the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry stated, "Through the ESG Management Capacity Building Support Project, we have been actively supporting local companies to respond to ESG-related regulations required in the global market, such as carbon reduction," and added, "The Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry will continue to provide steady support to present directions and visions for ESG management adoption and to improve the ESG management ratings of local companies."

Over the past two years, the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry has supported the introduction of ESG management to a total of 84 local companies through the ESG Management Capacity Building Support Project. Next year, the project will continue to expand to strengthen the ESG management capabilities of local companies.
