Gangbuk-gu to Host 'Gangbuk Green Santa Market' with Local Businesses from 20th to 22nd
Gangbuk-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Lee Soon-hee) will hold the "2024 Gangbuk Green Santa Market" from the 20th to the 22nd at the district office plaza and the Suyu commercial area.
Building on the successful hosting of last year's Christmas market "I Drew Santa," which collaborated with local businesses, this year’s market will recreate the charm of the Christmas market with the themes of Green (or Wish) Santa, wreath, hope, and welcome, offering visitors a variety of experiences and activities.

View original imageFor three days starting from the 20th, from 1 PM to 9 PM, a variety of events will take place including the Green Santa Square Market, carousel, Christmas winery, Green Santa Road Market, Green Santa Academy, and local brand experience booths.
At the 'Green Santa Square Market' to be held at the district office plaza, local small business owners and artisans will participate to sell various foods and handmade souvenirs, and in collaboration with Crown Haitai, a 'Christmas Gingerbread House Making' experience will also be offered.
In front of the district office, the 'Christmas Winery' will operate for wine sales and tastings, and the 'Green Santa Road Market' will be run by traditional market merchants selling winter representative foods such as tteokbokki and fish cakes.
Additionally, through the 'Green Santa Academy,' visitors can experience making various Christmas-themed items such as cookies, candles, and plaster air fresheners, and a 'Local Brand Experience Booth' will be set up on the pedestrian-friendly street to promote the Suyu commercial area's local brands.
