Police Confirm Deployment of 1,500 Soldiers During 12·3 Emergency Martial Law
The police confirmed that about 1,500 soldiers were deployed during the December 3 martial law incident.
The Special Investigation Unit of the National Police Agency issued a statement on the 15th, saying, "We investigated 43 active-duty military personnel, including Army Chief of Staff Park An-su (former martial law commander), and confirmed this."
It was confirmed that about 1,500 soldiers from the Ministry of National Defense, Army Headquarters, Capital Defense Command, Special Warfare Command, Counterintelligence Command, and Intelligence Command were mobilized for this martial law.

The suspects reported to the police in connection with the martial law include 18 people such as President Yoon Seok-yeol, former Minister of National Defense Kim Yong-hyun, and Police Commissioner Cho Ji-ho. Among them, there are 9 military personnel and 3 police officers.
