'Naeran Jungyomimu Jongsah' Yeon Inhyeong Counterintelligence Commander Detained (Update)
General Yeo In-hyeong, Commander of the Republic of Korea Military Counterintelligence Command, was arrested on the 14th on charges of conspiring with President Yoon Seok-yeol and others to incite a rebellion.
The Special Investigation Headquarters for Martial Law Emergencies of the prosecution announced that they had obtained an arrest warrant for General Yeo, who is accused of participating in important tasks related to the rebellion.

General Yeo is accused of sending counterintelligence agents to the National Assembly and the National Election Commission during the martial law period, and ordering the arrest of representatives from both ruling and opposition parties as well as securing the Election Commission's servers. General Yeo is the second suspect to be arrested in this case by the prosecution's special investigation team, following former Minister of National Defense Kim Yong-hyun.
