Guro-gu is recruiting citizen reporters for the 2025 Guro-gu newsletter ‘Guro-ga Jota’ until the 31st of this month.
The Guro-gu newsletter ‘Guro-ga Jota’ provides various information such as useful district news for residents’ daily lives, health information, and event announcements. As Guro-gu’s representative promotional material, the newsletter is published around the 25th of every month.
As a citizen reporter, you will play a role in directly covering and delivering various news such as district projects, resident interviews, touching stories, and neighborhood explorations to the residents.
The term of office is one year, from March 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026, with the possibility of one reappointment.
The recruitment targets are two adult reporters aged 20 or older who are residents of Guro-gu, and four child reporters in grades 5 to 6 of elementary school within the district (based on the 2025 school year).
If you wish to apply, you can submit the application form, self-introduction letter, and articles you have written via email to the person in charge of the Guro-gu newsletter. Detailed information such as submission documents can be found in the news section of the Guro-gu Office website.
The district will conduct a fair and objective review based on the evaluation criteria, announce the selection results on January 21 next year on the news section of the district office website, and individually notify the successful candidates.
The appointment ceremony is scheduled for the end of February next year, and various activity benefits such as cultural gift certificates and reporter IDs will be provided.
