It vividly depicts how two characters experience rest in different ways through their dialogue, deeply resonating with the audience. In particular, the direction that captured the charm of a two-person play and the excellent chemistry between the actors received high praise.
Student Yang Ji-hye, who wrote the play, also won an award at the 23rd World Two-Person Play Festival, achieving consecutive wins for two years with this 24th festival award.
The play "Na" conveys the message, "When you run without rest, you tend to forget the reason," and through this work, hopes to provide the audience with an opportunity to reflect on whether they are living with sufficient rest.
Kim Jin-man, the organizing chairman who has successfully held the World Two-Person Play Festival up to its 24th edition as the only private organization, said that although there were considerable difficulties in judging due to the high participation of students this year as well, it was a year that highlighted the artistic expansiveness of the students, and the festival holds great significance in creating a playground for students.
Professor Hwang Yeon-hee, head of the Department of Acting Arts at Daejin University, stated, "We support students' proactive creative activities to encourage a creative and progressive university life, and at the departmental level, we are working to activate these experiences so that they can grow into resources for the performing arts industry after graduation."
