Specifically, they will pursue mutual advancement through sharing artificial intelligence technologies, generate outcomes by developing artificial intelligence models and connecting services, and lay the foundation for new drug development by supporting each other's research infrastructure.
Shin Jesu, Acting President of the National Institute for Korean Medicine Development, stated, "Through this agreement, we will combine the data and artificial intelligence technologies of both organizations to establish a foundation for drug development. We will also introduce artificial intelligence-based systems in the field of Korean medicine to promote the scientific and digital advancement of Korean medicine technologies."
The National Institute for Korean Medicine Development is currently developing artificial intelligence models to predict new efficacy, safety, and effectiveness for specific diseases, utilizing herbal medicine experimental data as a first step toward establishing an artificial intelligence platform for herbal medicine.
