Ahn Hyeong-ju, Gwangju Seo-gu Council Member, Shaves Head to Urge Impeachment of Yoon Seok-yeol
Ahn Hyeong-ju, a member of the Gwangju Seo-gu Council, along with Democratic Party of Korea's Gwangju basic and metropolitan council members, issued a statement calling for the impeachment of Yoon Seok-yeol and condemning the People Power Party, then participated in a head-shaving ceremony.
According to local political circles on the 10th, on the afternoon of the 9th, the council members held a joint statement at the 5·18 Democracy Square in Dong-gu, Gwangju, demanding the immediate impeachment of President Yoon Seok-yeol, the main culprit of the December 3 insurrection, and a strict investigation by the prosecution.
After reading the statement, eight members including Ahn, who first proposed the head-shaving, Seo Yong-gyu of Gwangju City Council, Park Hae-won of Gwangsan-gu Council, Moon Seon-hwa of Dong-gu Council, Oh Young-soon and Shin Jong-hyeok of Nam-gu Council, and Kim Young-soon and Jeong Dal-seong of Buk-gu Council, proceeded with the head-shaving.
