Since 2013, S-Oil has signed the Coast Guard Hero Keeper agreement with the Korea Coast Guard and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare to encourage and boost the morale of maritime police officers who dedicate themselves to protecting South Korea’s maritime territory and the lives and property of its citizens on the front lines, including rescuing distressed vessels, preventing marine pollution, and cracking down on illegal fishing vessels.
