Business Agreement for Marketing Collaboration
Year-End Winter Festival Booth Operation and Joint Product Development
Hotel Shilla announced on the 10th that it has signed a marketing business agreement with the Seoul Design Foundation, which operates the landmark Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Jung-gu, Seoul, and will work to revitalize tourism in the Jung-gu area.

View original imageAccording to the business agreement held the previous day, both organizations will cooperate on ▲activating the DDP four-season festivals ▲developing joint tourism programs for the development of the Jung-gu area ▲joint marketing, among other initiatives.
First, starting with the DDP Winter Festival held from the 19th to the 31st, they agreed to collaborate to develop the DDP’s seasonal festivals, held with various themes each season, into regional festivals.
Shilla Duty Free will operate a pop-up store at this year’s DDP Winter Festival, run certification events with prize giveaways, and manage photo zones. Additionally, they will jointly develop programs and content for domestic and international tourists, such as planning packages linked to DDP exhibitions at Seoul Shilla Hotel and Shilla Stay (Seoul area).
Furthermore, the two organizations plan to continue cooperation through mutual marketing support via their promotional channels, providing DDP information at the front desks of Seoul Shilla Hotel and Shilla Stay for nearby tourist attractions, and developing marketing programs linked to DDP exhibitions and events.
