Foreign Ministry Responds to Russia's 'Tension Caused by Martial Law' Statement as "Not Worth Considering"
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the remarks made by the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson regarding the 'martial law situation,' claiming that "South Korea is causing tension on the Korean Peninsula," are not worth considering.
On the 6th, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a text message sent to reporters, "(Maria) Zakharova's remarks, like her comments on various past issues, are not worth considering."
They added, "It is clear who the party is that violates international norms by developing and proliferating nuclear weapons and missiles, threatening peace and stability in the region and worldwide."
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned Russia once again for continuing illegal military cooperation with North Korea, which causes tension and instability not only on the Korean Peninsula but also in the international community, and urged an immediate halt to such actions.
