Police Chief: "Did Not Receive Proclamation Document... Gave Orders After Reading Dong-A Ilbo"
Assemblyman Yoon Geon-young: "Is That Even a Valid Statement?"
Police Chief Jo Ji-ho stated on the 5th that he received the Martial Law Command's proclamation document "through the media."
On the same day, Chief Jo responded this way to a question from Yoon Gun-young, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, during the plenary session of the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee.
Yoon criticized, "Is that even a reasonable statement?" to which Chief Jo replied, "The staff brought me the Dong-A Ilbo."
