Goyang-si and National Institute of Ecology Sign Agreement on Climate and Environmental Conservation Cooperation
Mutual Cooperation in Exhibition and Ecological Education Operation at 'Ramsar Goyang Janghang Wetland Ecology Center'
Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 5th that it signed a memorandum of understanding for mutual cooperation in climate and environmental conservation with the National Institute of Ecology on the 4th at the Ramsar Goyang Janghang Wetland Ecology Center.

View original imageThe National Institute of Ecology is the largest ecosystem survey, research, and facility institution in Korea. Goyang City plans to promote practical mutual cooperation with the National Institute of Ecology, which has provided significant support since the early stages of establishing the Ramsar Goyang Janghang Wetland Ecology Center, in line with the pilot operation of the ecology center.
Through this agreement, both organizations agreed to collaborate on various related tasks such as organizing diverse programs including exhibitions and ecological education, as well as promotion, based on mutual understanding and cooperation enhancement.
In particular, the National Institute of Ecology will provide Goyang City with three 4D videos, including the self-produced "Mom's Forest," which will be available for viewing at the Janghang Wetland Ecology Center next year.
Jo Do-soon, Director of the National Institute of Ecology, stated, "This agreement will maximize the strengths of both organizations and serve as an opportunity to provide not only environmental conservation but also inspiration and learning to the citizens."
