This campaign, conducted on the monthly 'Safety Inspection Day' to raise awareness of industrial accidents, focused on promoting compliance with industrial safety rules and the Safety Report System.
The campaign promoted and provided guidance on ▲ conducting risk assessments to prevent industrial accidents ▲ essential safety measures at industrial sites such as preventing cold-related illnesses among workers during winter ▲ traffic and daily life safety measures to protect oneself and family.
In particular, a free coffee truck was operated for GGM workers to comfort their efforts at the industrial site, and participants pledged slogans such as “Let's share safety together for us (We) for safety!”
To realize a “Safe City Gwangju anytime, anywhere,” the city plans to continue various policies to prevent industrial site accidents next year through collaborative projects for industrial accident prevention activities, including industrial safety education and joint patrol inspections, in cooperation with the Gwangju Regional Employment and Labor Office, the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency Gwangju Regional Headquarters, and the Gwangju Employers Federation.
