TIPA Achieves Excellent Grade in Public Data Quality Certification
Efforts to Provide High-Quality Public Data Through Database Quality Improvement
The Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs (TIPA) announced on the 3rd that it has received an excellent grade in the '2024 Public Data Quality Certification.'
The 'Public Data Quality Certification' is a system implemented since last year by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, granting certification to institutions that meet certain standards in 13 evaluation categories, including database management and capacity enhancement efforts, data error rates, and efforts to promote data openness.

View original imageOut of a total of 679 public institutions, 63 applied for the Public Data Quality Certification, and TIPA was recognized for its efforts in data quality management and received an excellent grade.
TIPA has strived to provide high-quality public data through quality improvement efforts such as performing preventive quality management, applying data standards at a rate of over 95%, maintaining data structure update rates above 90%, setting and applying 20 quality diagnosis rules, and keeping data error rates below 0.001%.
