Manufacturing Industry Slowdown, Below Previous Month's 46
Manufacturing activity in the Eurozone significantly slowed down in November.
According to S&P Global and Hamburg Commercial Bank (HCOB) on the 21st, the Eurozone Manufacturing PMI for November was recorded at 45.2. Although this matched the market expectation of 45.2, it was below the previous month's figure of 46.
The Manufacturing PMI measures the activity level of purchasing managers in the manufacturing sector. A value above 50 indicates economic expansion, while below 50 indicates contraction.
