Hyundai Motor Group Sweeps 8 Awards Including 'Bamnaksi' at Korea Advertising Awards
Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 2nd that it won a total of eight awards at the '2024 Korea Advertising Awards' organized by the Korea Federation of Advertising Associations.
The short film "Night Fishing," co-produced by Hyundai Motor Company, the advertising agency Innocean, and actor Son Seok-gu, won the Grand Prize in the Film Craft and PR categories, as well as the Gold Prize in the Branded Contents & Entertainment category at this awards ceremony, receiving acclaim as a successful example of boundary-crossing collaboration.
"Night Fishing," which achieved a triple crown this time, is a short film set against the backdrop of an electric vehicle charging station, featuring a mysterious incident and a plot twist. It won the 'Best Editing' award in the International Short Competition selected by the jury at the 28th Fantasia International Film Festival last July, and was also screened at 'Chef Dance,' a representative program of the Sundance Film Festival in the U.S. last January, garnering significant attention at prestigious international film festivals.

The campaign video "Saryuk, Sachil," which depicts the story of a hydrogen electric bus supporting the comfortable rest of on-site firefighters, won the Silver Prize in the Online Video category. Furthermore, the campaign video "10M March," which helps rehabilitate injured soldiers through the walking rehabilitation robot ‘X-ble Medical Exoskeleton (X-ble MEX),’ won the Silver Prize in the PR category. Genesis’s 'GV70 Facelift Launch Film' was recognized for its originality and high immersion, featuring an intriguing cinematic story with a twist, and received the Special Award for Overseas Advertising.
