Gijang-gun Holds 'Love Kimchi Making' Event... Collaboration with Gijang-gun Women's Association Council
Busan Gijang-gun held the 'Love Kimchi Making' event from the 27th to the 28th at the Gijang-gun Agricultural Technology Center in collaboration with the Gijang-gun Women's Association Council (President Jo Bok-im).

View original imageAbout 80 members of the Gijang-gun Women's Association Council participated in this event, making over 700 heads of kimchi by hand, which were then delivered to 250 vulnerable households including basic livelihood security recipients, elderly living alone, and low-income single-parent families.
On the 27th, participants made seasoning sauce using ingredients they purchased themselves, and on the second day, the 28th, they completed the kimchi mixing and packaging work, delivering the kimchi to neighbors in need through the town and township administrative welfare centers.
County Governor Jeong Jong-bok said, "I sincerely thank the members of the women's association who actively participate in the kimchi sharing event every year despite the cold weather," and added, "I hope that the kimchi made with sincerity and love will help our neighbors in need have a healthy and warm winter."
