Ulsan City Opens Applications for Sustainable Eco-Friendly Agriculture 'Soil Conditioner Support Project'
December 2 - February 20 Next Year, Eup, Myeon, and Dong Administrative Welfare Centers in Farmland Locations
Ulsan City will accept applications for the '2026?2028 Soil Conditioner Support Project' from December 2 to February 20 of next year.
This project aims to establish an eco-friendly agricultural foundation by providing siliceous fertilizer and calcareous fertilizer (lime marl and weathered rock) free of charge to farms on a three-year cycle.
Siliceous fertilizer is supplied to paddy fields and volcanic ash soils with insufficient silicon content, where the effective silicon content is below 157 ppm, while calcareous fertilizer targets acidic fields (including orchards) with a pH below 6.5 or farmland contaminated with heavy metals.
Applicants must be landowners who have registered their agricultural management entity information with the National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service under the jurisdiction of their address. Applicants should complete the soil conditioner supply application form based on the agricultural management entity area and submit it to the administrative welfare center of the town, township, or neighborhood where the farmland is located.
In particular, the consistency between the agricultural management entity registration information and the farmland status determines eligibility for support, so farms must keep their registration information up to date.
Ulsan City expects that timely application of soil conditioners will alleviate soil acidification, increase agricultural productivity, and contribute to stable farm income by producing high-quality agricultural products.
