Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 28th that it successfully held the '2024 Hak(School) Forest Concert' at the Cheongseong Hall of the Pocheon Women's Center on the 27th.

View original imageThe Hak(School) Forest Concert became an occasion to share various achievements of lifelong learning villages and to share the value of lifelong learning led by residents, with about 200 citizens in attendance.
At the Learning Village Achievement Battle event, representatives from 13 learning villages took the stage to present the distinctive achievements of each village. Based on this, a humanities calendar was produced to symbolically showcase the results of cooperation between the villages.
In the first part of the achievement presentation, performances included a dance by Hwacheon 5-ri, a folk song medley by Jangja Village, a Sanjeong Band performance from Sanjeong-ri, and a choir stage by Doridol Village. In the second part, various stages followed, such as a Janggu performance by Taebong Village, a dance challenge by Suip 1-ri, and a Nanta performance by Myeongdeok 1-ri.
A Pocheon City official said, "This 'Hak(School) Forest Concert' was an opportunity to share the achievements of lifelong learning and reaffirm that Pocheon City is a leading lifelong learning city, realizing the vision of a 'refined humanities city.'"
