Cheonan City to Support Installation Costs for Air Pollution Prevention Facilities at Small Businesses
Cheonan City in Chungnam Province announced on the 28th that it will implement a support project for the installation of air pollution prevention facilities at small-scale businesses.
With the revision of the Clean Air Conservation Act making it mandatory for air emission facilities to install Internet of Things (IoT) monitoring devices by June next year, the city will provide support for 90% of the installation costs. The total project budget is expected to be 219 million KRW.
The support is available to small and medium-sized enterprises operating Class 4 and 5 air emission facilities that are required to install IoT monitoring devices.
