The KOSPI is battling around the 2510 level.
On the 26th, the KOSPI is trading at 2516.21, down 18.13 points (0.72%) from the previous session. It opened at 2521.39, down 12.95 points (0.51%) from the previous trading day, reached an early high of 2526.62, and is now contesting around the 2510 level. It is trading below the previous day's closing price of 2534.34.
By investor type, individual investors are buying alone with net purchases of 304.5 billion KRW. Meanwhile, foreigners are net selling 60.7 billion KRW, and institutions are net selling 257.5 billion KRW, totaling over 300 billion KRW in net sales.
Among the top 10 market capitalization stocks, the 'leader' Samsung Electronics is trading up 0.69% at 58,300 KRW. Hyundai Motor (0.23%) and NAVER (0.72%) also rose slightly. The rest are all declining. In particular, Samsung Biologics (-2.51%), LG Energy Solution (-1.67%), KB Financial Group (-2.96%), and Shinhan Financial Group (-3.19%) are recording declines of more than 1%.
By sector, telecommunications (1.93%) is showing strength, with electricity and gas (1.19%), construction (0.76%), steel and metals (0.57%), non-metallic minerals (0.16%), and medical precision (0.05%) also rising. On the other hand, transportation equipment (-2.08%), machinery (-2.09%), insurance (-1.75%), finance (-1.67%), pharmaceuticals (-1.65%), and securities (-1.53%) are falling more sharply than the index.
The KOSDAQ index is trading at 693.08, down 3.75 points (0.54%) from the previous day.
By investor type, individuals are buying with net purchases of 161.3 billion KRW. Meanwhile, institutions sold 6.3 billion KRW, and foreigners sold 154.2 billion KRW.
