4by4, Pixel Plugin Developed with SGO Debuts at Inter Buzzer
Content AI solution provider ForBy4 announced on the 26th that it showcased its image enhancement AI 'Pixel' combined with video solution company SGO's production equipment in the form of a plugin for the first time at 'InterBEE 2024'.
The InterBEE exhibition is Asia's largest broadcasting, entertainment, and media technology exhibition held annually in Tokyo, Japan. Over 1,800 exhibitors and more than 33,000 visitors participated during the three days from the 13th to the 15th.
Earlier, ForBy4 signed a business agreement with global video solution company SGO in August. ForBy4 has been working on integrating its image enhancement AI 'Pixel' as a plugin into 'Workflows,' one of the 'Mistika' professional video editing solutions by SGO.
SGO, which integrated Pixel as a plugin into its editing solution, transformed it into a process efficiency enhancement service that not only improves image quality but also drastically reduces time and cost during intermediate rendering in video editing. The technology demonstration was held at the booth of SGO's local Japanese partner, Restar Corporation.
VFX studio representatives and post-production experts commented, "This is a revolutionary technology that can bring low cost and high efficiency to overall content production by shortening rendering time," and "The most attractive part is that since it is integrated into the Mistika solution, no additional equipment is required."
ForBy4 CEO Junho Yoon explained, "Once the Pixel plugin is officially registered in the Mistika shop within this year, video professionals worldwide will be able to use ForBy4's technology with just one click," adding, "We expect this to be an opportunity for ForBy4's global business to grow to the next level."
