Eunpyeong-gu to Recruit 316 People for Public Job Projects in the First Half of 2025

Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) is recruiting participants for the ‘2025 First Half Public Job Project’ from the 25th of this month until the 6th of next month to support economic independence for low-income, employment-vulnerable groups, and the unemployed.
The ‘2025 First Half Public Job Project’ will recruit a total of 316 people, including 221 for the Seoul Donghaeng Job Project and 95 for the Public Social Job Project.
The Seoul Donghaeng Job Project includes activities such as supporting climate and environmental vulnerable groups, alley environment maintenance, digital vulnerable support, and school zone traffic safety guardians, while the Public Social Job Project involves office environment maintenance and office work assistance, as well as support for the in-house cafeteria and Eunmaru Cafe.
Applicants must be Eunpyeong-gu residents aged 18 or older with working ability, with total household assets including cohabitants not exceeding 499 million KRW, and below 80% of the median income standard. The district will comprehensively review assets, public job participation history, and employment vulnerability to select participants.
Selected participants will work from January 15 to June 30 next year at the district office, community service centers, etc. Those under 65 years old will work 3 to 6 hours per day, and those 65 or older will work 3 to 4 hours per day. Wages will be 10,030 KRW per hour based on the 2025 minimum wage, with support for the four major insurances, weekly holiday allowance, monthly leave allowance, and snack expenses.
Those wishing to participate should bring their ID and job registration confirmation (required) and apply in person at the community service center of their registered resident address. The job registration confirmation (required) can be issued at the Eunpyeong-gu Job Center.
