‘Jangbogo Utjang,’ meaning ‘Let’s shop and smile,’ started in August 2015 with about 20 local residents to create a community of ecology, local culture, and sharing in the Wando area, and now has about 90 members.

In particular, customers who bring their own shopping bags receive coupons, and there are various customer satisfaction benefits such as tumbler discounts.
Kim Young-shin, the market manager, stated, “It is a reality that Wando County cannot avoid the population cliff,” and added, “In such circumstances, we believe that providing economic and cultural activities to revitalize the region is the role of ‘Jangbogo Utjang.’”
