Namyangju City Successfully Completes 8th Session of 5060 Life Redesign 'Insaeng Damojak School'
Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 21st that it successfully completed the 8th session of the life redesign program for the middle-aged and older generation in their 50s and 60s, called ‘Insaeng Damojak School 8th Class,’ on the 20th.

View original image‘Insaeng Damojak School 8th Class’ was conducted as a program that practically supports employment and entrepreneurship for the baby boomer generation through expert lectures on topics such as reemployment strategies and customized resume writing for middle-aged citizens, as well as personalized 1:1 career counseling.
A graduate who completed the training said, “Through this education, I was able to design a personalized portfolio and create a concrete roadmap based on various cases and information,” adding, “It was a great help for a new start after retirement.”
Yumi Lee, Director of Future Education, stated, “Damojak School is an educational program that has been conducted since 2019 to provide practical help to middle-aged citizens preparing for a new life,” and urged, “We operate various programs for the middle-aged to support their new lives, so please make active use of them.”
Meanwhile, the Namyangju Lifelong Learning Center provides employment, entrepreneurship, and certification training for adults in Namyangju City, and will continue to discover various educational programs to equip middle-aged citizens preparing for life’s second act with the necessary skills.
