The Lee Dae-woong Scholarship Foundation Awards Scholarships to 15 Students in Pocheon City

View original imageThe award ceremony was attended by Baek Young-hyun, Mayor of Pocheon, Kim Nam-hyun, Director of Population Growth Bureau, Lee Dae-man, Vice Chairman of Chambit Group, Lee Han-il, CEO, Kang Young-gyu, General Manager, as well as about 20 scholarship students and their parents. A total of 10.8 million KRW in scholarships was awarded to 15 students including middle and high school and university students.
The Lee Dae-woong Scholarship Foundation was established in 1988 in memory of the late Lee Dae-woong and has contributed to the development of the local community and education through various social contribution activities such as scholarship projects and the Korean Vocal Music Competition. In particular, since 2014, it has consistently supported scholarships for students in Pocheon, encouraging the nurturing of local talents and the growth of future generations.
Lee Dae-man, Vice Chairman of Chambit Group, said, “I am pleased to deliver scholarships filled with the sincerity and love of many people to the students. I hope the scholarships provided will serve as a foundation for the students to grow as the future of Pocheon and the hope of the Republic of Korea.”
