The Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (Head of Headquarters Gong Heung-du) signed a business agreement with the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the Korea Environment Corporation on the 19th at the 4th-floor conference room of the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the Korea Environment Corporation to improve community safety, health, and the environment.

The main contents of the agreement are as follows.
① Integrated approach to safety and environmental fields △ Joint efforts to promote safety and health culture through various activities △ Joint inspection of hazardous chemical facilities and support for safety management checks △ Collaboration in other areas necessary for mutual development and friendship enhancement
② Contribution to community safety and environmental fields △ Rapid and efficient collaborative response in case of workplace accidents △ Provision of information on risk factors in environmental infrastructure installation projects and support for education of construction personnel △ Continuous support and cooperation to enhance community safety
This business agreement is set for a two-year period from November 19, 2024, to November 18, 2026, and promises to establish an effective response system for environmental and safety accidents in the community.

Head of Headquarters Gong Heung-du said, “Through this business agreement, by supporting the capabilities of the two specialized institutions, we will be able to effectively solve environmental and safety issues in the Busan area in the future,” and added, “The Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency will proactively respond together with the Korea Environment Corporation to prevent environmental problems and industrial accidents in the Busan area.”
