HMM Receives A Grade in SustainBest ESG Evaluation
Evaluation Grade Increased by One Level Compared to the Previous Year
HMM received a top-tier rating in Sustainvest's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) evaluation.
HMM announced on the 20th that it earned an A grade in Sustainvest's 2024 final ESG evaluation.
HMM (CEO Kim Kyung-bae) announced on the 20th that it received an 'A grade' in Sustainvest's 2024 final ESG evaluation. Sustainvest is an ESG evaluation agency established in 2006. It has conducted evaluations based on data accumulated over 17 years, covering a total of 1,270 domestic companies (1,065 listed companies). The evaluation results are divided into seven grades (AA, A, BB, B, C, D, E).
HMM, which has participated in the evaluation since 2021, improved by one grade compared to the previous year to achieve an 'A grade' this year. In particular, in the social sector, HMM scored more than 30% higher than the average of the transportation sector to which it belongs. It received a perfect score of 100 in social contribution and community areas, and earned consistently high evaluations across all sectors including human resource management, supply chain management, and customer management.
