Dong-Eui University (President Han Su-hwan) was recently selected as the implementing agency for the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA)'s ODA (Official Development Assistance) project titled “Strengthening Refugee Integration Education in Schools in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region.”


This project aims to provide inclusive and equitable educational opportunities to all students in the region by establishing model schools for integrated education of students from the Iraqi Kurdistan region and Syrian refugee students, enhancing teacher capacity, and developing refugee integration education programs. Starting with the contract signing in November, the project will run for about four years until December 2028, with a total budget of 12 million USD.
