On the 15th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do, launched the '2024 Kimchi-Making Sharing Festival.' This event, involving 454 participants from 20 organizations across 12 towns and townships, will continue until the 5th of next month. View original imageOn the 15th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do, will kick off the "2024 Kimjang Sharing Grand Festival" starting in Yong-myeon, continuing until the 5th of next month, with 454 participants from 20 organizations across 12 eup and myeon.
This Kimjang Sharing Grand Festival is organized to help neighbors who have difficulty preparing kimchi in winter to have a healthy and warm season. The kimchi prepared will be delivered to over 2,500 households.
In particular, senior citizens with jobs in the eup and myeon areas plan to participate in sharing by directly providing napa cabbage, radishes, and other vegetables they cultivated using idle farmland.
