This is a health program designed to promote walking exercise. Since May, it has been conducted by dividing the area into three zones: Jayang-dong, Guui · Gwangjang-dong, and Junggok-dong. The third session will take place in the Junggok zone, connecting urban scenery and the nature of Achasan.
Participants will walk 5.4 km starting from Children's Grand Park, passing Giwonjeongsa Temple, Achasan Donghaeng Forest Trail, and Achasan Eoullim Square. It takes about 2 hours and is composed of safe walking paths. In the middle, participants can also experience the Achasan Barefoot Clay Trail.
A professional guide will provide explanations about the local history, adding more fun. They will accompany participants from start to finish, sharing interesting stories about various places in the neighborhood.
Any interested residents can participate. The program will recruit 30 people on a first-come, first-served basis, and online applications are accepted through the Gwangjin-gu Office website. For more details, please contact the Gwangjin-gu Public Health Center.
