Paju-si, Organic Fertilizer Support for 2025... Applications Open Until the 6th of Next Month
Paju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 13th that it will accept applications for the 2025 Organic Fertilizer Support Project until December 6. The Organic Fertilizer Support Project is implemented to promote the recycling and resource utilization of agricultural and livestock by-products, enhance soil fertility, and conserve the soil environment to foster sustainable eco-friendly agriculture.
Eligibility for application requires registration as an agricultural management entity with agricultural management information (farmers cultivating crops on farmland of 1,000㎡ or more and who have applied for registration with the Agricultural Products Quality Management Service). Applicants must maintain their agricultural management entity registration until they receive the fertilizer. Plots not registered as management entities and plots subject to farmland disposal orders are excluded from support.
The fertilizers eligible for support include three types of organic fertilizers (mixed organic cake fertilizer, mixed organic fertilizer, organic compound fertilizer) and two types of matured organic fertilizers (livestock manure compost, compost). Organic fertilizers are supported at 1,600 KRW per 20kg bag, and matured organic fertilizers are supported at rates ranging from 1,300 KRW to 1,600 KRW depending on the grade. For matured organic fertilizers, the application amount cannot exceed 2,000kg (100 bags of 20kg) per 10 ares.
Agricultural management entities wishing to receive fertilizer support can apply by visiting the administrative welfare center in the location of their farmland. The supply period is from the end of February 2025 to December, and applicants can receive the fertilizer at their desired supply time indicated on the application form.
